Succesverhalen

Een dergelijk verhaal is dat van een jongeman, een nieuwkomer met een toekomst die onzeker leek. We hielpen hem een baan te krijgen bij Starbucks en zagen een diepgaande verandering in zijn kijk op het leven. Zijn nieuwe baan bood niet alleen een loonstrookje, maar ook een gevoel van verbondenheid, waardigheid en een betere toekomst. Zijn emotionele getuigenis tijdens een interview ontroerde ons allemaal diep en herinnerde ons aan waarom we doen wat we doen. We hebben ook impactvolle samenwerkingen gerealiseerd, zoals die met de gemeente Den Haag, Ashoka en PwC, waarbij we een evenement organiseerden genaamd ‘ReThink Refugees’. Dit evenement bracht professionals van over de hele wereld samen om de vluchtelingensituatie opnieuw te bekijken, wat leidde tot de geboorte van innovatieve projecten.

Ik heb het genoegen gehad om samen met Mohiman een mooi event te organiseren waar we bijna 30 vluchtelingen - of zoals ze zelf graag genoemd willen worden 'nieuwkomers' - konden introduceren aan Starbucks. Dankzij Mohiman zijn passie, betrokkenheid en netwerk hebben we hier iets moois van weten te maken en kan ik een week later al zeggen dat dit meer dan een geslaagde dag was. Voor een aantal betekende dit het delen van kennis en netwerken maar voor velen ook concreet een aanbod voor een eerste baan in Nederland. Dank je wel Mohiman zonder jou en onze Starbucks ster in de Leidsestraat was het niet gelukt

I've met Mohiman during the Hackathon for humanitarian aid at PwC, and we created an amazing team together sharing ideas and experiences, and we won the first prize, which is traveling together to Switzerland to present our winner idea to the UN. Through his initiative 'Jobs for the NEW Dutchies', Mohiman guided and empowered me and others to realize our potential and build our future here. After attending one of his lectures about web-development, he inspired and encouraged me to apply to my current studies in web development. Yesterday I joined the recruitment event he organized with Starbucks for 30 of the new comers. Today, I already got the job offer from Starbucks. Thanks to him I will become a web developer and I got my first job in the Netherlands. Mohiman is a passionate person who likes to help others. He is a creative leader with charismatic personality. The thoughts he shares touches the hearts, that's why he is a role model for all Syrians in the Netherlands. Ruim 120 Nieuwkomers op de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt

We zijn trots te kunnen zeggen dat we meer dan 120 nieuwkomers hebben geholpen om voet aan de grond te krijgen op de Nederlandse arbeidsmarkt, hun levens te veranderen en hen te helpen overstappen van nieuwkomers naar succesverhalen. The New Dutchies gaat niet alleen over integratie in de Nederlandse samenleving; het gaat over bloei in deze samenleving. Deze verhalen en getuigenissen vormen de essentie van The New Dutchies. Ze inspireren ons om door te gaan met het doorbreken van barrières, het overbruggen van culturen en het bouwen aan de toekomst. En dit is nog maar het begin… want elke nieuwkomer heeft een uniek succesverhaal dat wacht om verteld te worden, en wij zijn hier om hen te helpen dat te schrijven.
