Succecful Stories

One such story is that of a young man, a newcomer with a future that seemed clouded in uncertainty. We helped him secure a job with Starbucks and saw a profound change in his perspective on life. His newfound employment offered not just a paycheck but a sense of belonging, dignity, and a brighter future. His tearful testament during an interview moved us all deeply and reminded us of why we do what we do.
We have also made impactful collaborations, such as the one with the municipality of The Hague, Ashoka, and PwC, organizing an event called ‘ReThink Refugees’. This event brought together professionals from around the world to rethink the refugee situation, leading to birth of innovative projects.

Ik heb het genoegen gehad om samen met Mohiman een mooi event te organiseren waar we bijna 30 vluchtelingen - of zoals ze zelf graag genoemd willen worden 'nieuwkomers' - konden introduceren aan Starbucks. Dankzij Mohiman zijn passie, betrokkenheid en netwerk hebben we hier iets moois van weten te maken en kan ik een week later al zeggen dat dit meer dan een geslaagde dag was. Voor een aantal betekende dit het delen van kennis en netwerken maar voor velen ook concreet een aanbod voor een eerste baan in Nederland. Dank je wel Mohiman zonder jou en onze Starbucks ster in de Leidsestraat was het niet gelukt

I've met Mohiman during the Hackathon for humanitarian aid at PwC, and we created an amazing team together sharing ideas and experiences, and we won the first prize, which is traveling together to Switzerland to present our winner idea to the UN. Through his initiative 'Jobs for the NEW Dutchies', Mohiman guided and empowered me and others to realize our potential and build our future here. After attending one of his lectures about web-development, he inspired and encouraged me to apply to my current studies in web development. Yesterday I joined the recruitment event he organized with Starbucks for 30 of the new comers. Today, I already got the job offer from Starbucks. Thanks to him I will become a web developer and I got my first job in the Netherlands. Mohiman is a passionate person who likes to help others. He is a creative leader with charismatic personality. The thoughts he shares touches the hearts, that's why he is a role model for all Syrians in the Netherlands.
